Job Description:
The company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deep Learning Perception Engineer to be part of its dynamic team. As a Deep Learning Perception Engineer, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of computer vision systems for autonomous vehicles. Their work will directly contribute to the safety and efficiency of next-generation transportation technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement state-of-the-art deep learning models for computer vision tasks, including object detection, tracking, and scene understanding.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate perception systems into autonomous vehicle platforms.
- Continuously improve the performance of perception algorithms by optimizing and fine-tuning deep learning models.
- Annotate and preprocess data for training and validation of perception models.
- Evaluate, test, and validate perception systems using real-world and simulated data.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research in deep learning and computer vision and apply this knowledge to enhance the company’s systems.
- Identify and solve challenges related to perception in various driving scenarios.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying deep learning models for computer vision tasks.
- Familiarity with perception tasks in the context of autonomous vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
- Proficiency in programming with languages like Python and C++.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with large-scale data annotation and management is a plus.
- Previous work on perception systems for autonomous vehicles is advantageous.
