The Role
The Quantitative Engineer will work at the intersection of trading strategy development and robust implementation. The successful candidate will collaborate with the trading, research, and engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize algorithmic trading strategies across multiple crypto assets and exchanges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust quantitative models for market making and systematic trading
- Analyze market data to identify trading opportunities and optimize execution strategies
- Build and maintain data pipelines for real-time and historical market data analysis
- Implement and optimize trading algorithms with a focus on latency and reliability
- Collaborate with trading teams to translate strategy ideas into production-ready code
- Conduct backtesting and simulations to validate strategies before deployment
- Monitor and optimize performance of trading systems in production environments
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of professional experience in quantitative development or algorithmic trading
- Strong programming skills in Python and Rust; experience with C++ is a plus
- Experience developing high-performance systems in Rust for low-latency applications
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
- Experience with high-frequency trading systems or market making is highly desirable
- Understanding of market microstructure and order book dynamics
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology is a plus
- Strong mathematical background with focus on probability, statistics, and optimization
