We are hiring for a Senior Graphics & Rendering Architect position at an AI Imaging startup who is developing 3D and visual AI solutions. They were recently acquired by a global company with a revenue of over $45,000 million and a profit of over $300 million.
In this position you will drive the architectural planning and design of the graphics engine, focusing on maximizing efficiency and flexibility across varied hardware platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning and design of our graphics engine, optimizing efficiency and adaptability for a wide range of hardware configurations.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, software developers, and hardware engineers to integrate state-of-the-art graphics and AI technologies.
- Develop complex shaders for realistic material rendering, ensuring high-performance execution and physically based shading models.
Must Haves:
- S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or related field with at least 8 years of render/game engine/3D graphics development experience
- In-depth understanding of contemporary 3D game and rendering engine structures, including entity-component systems, scene graph representations, and rigid-body physics engines
- Expert in low-level graphics APIs: WebGL/WebGPU, Vulkan, DX12, Metal, OpenGL.
- Advanced in rendering: HDR, image-based lighting, physically based rendering. Strong in JavaScript/Typescript, skilled in ThreeJS, BabylonJS, or similar frameworks.
