Tech Lead Manager – Machine Learning Perception – Autonomous Systems (Detroit Metro)

You will lead a team of engineers, set technical direction, and ensure the delivery of high-performance models for object detection, tracking, and scene understanding.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of ML engineers in perception modeling.
• Define technical strategy and drive innovation in deep learning for perception.
• Oversee model development, optimization, and deployment for real-world applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems.

Requirements:

• PhD in CS, AI, or related field with technical leadership experience.
• Expertise in deep learning, computer vision, and ML deployment (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Experience scaling perception models for real-time and embedded systems.
